About MAYA Pinball
MAYA Pinball is an independent pinball technology brand focused on control systems, machine behaviour, and long-term platform development.
The brand began after a delayed flight led to hours spent playing pinball in an airport departure lounge. What started as nostalgia quickly became a deeper technical interest in how modern machines are built, controlled, and where some of their limitations come from.
Since then, the work has expanded across control electronics, sensing, mechanical systems, manufacturing methods, and platform architecture.
The accessories and hardware currently available are part of that process. They provide a way to place products into real machines, establish the brand, and remain closely connected to the realities of pinball ownership and maintenance. That range will continue to expand while the broader platform development continues quietly in the background.
This site brings together the accessories currently available alongside selected writing, experiments, and ongoing work related to the platform in development.

About the Founder
MAYA Pinball was founded by Nick, an engineer based in Hertfordshire, England. He has a background is in signal processing, hearing technology, and accessibility systems. He holds a PhD in Electronic Engineering and has authored over 40 patents.
Before MAYA Pinball, Nick founded a Berlin-based technology company focused on assistive hearing systems and technology licensing. MAYA Pinball grew from a personal interest in the game and a broader curiosity about how pinball machines could be built, controlled, and manufactured differently.
